Need help using 2 wireless security cameras at the same time.?

Several years ago I bought a wireless security cameraIt came with several parts like the camera, wireless reciever, and various ac adapters. It has been working fine for about 2 years. I recently bought another one, for the other side of my house. I thought it was different than the older one I had, but it turns out that, although they look different they are basically the same. The problem is, when I hooked up the new camera (it works fine) the reciever from the old camera picked up the signal from the new one. Now I have two wireless cameras hooked to two monitors but I get the same view on both monitors.
Even if I directly connect the RCA cable from one camera to the monitor, I can see both views on both monitors but I get "bleedover" on the one that is still hooked wirelessly.

Is there a way to get both of these to work so I can both views clearly, on both monitors, and not get any "bleedover" from the other camera?

      Hi!

I know exactly what your talking about. Don’t worry about thinking that your camera system is defective, and that you need to buy a new one, because you and I both know that they’re not cheap.

The problem that you are having when you say that you get the same picture on one camera as you do on the new one. The answer to this is FREQUENCY.

It’s just like little remote controlled cars, if you get two with the same frequency, you can drive both of them at the same time. Well in the cameras case, the new camera you bought has the same frequency as the old one that is already hooked up. That causes the "same" picture effect.

To solve this problem, simply return the new camera to the store you bought it from, and go back and see if they have the same kind with a different frequency ( which is usually listed on the camera, or on the box.) If they don’t, call the manufacturer, and ask them. I am almost positive that they sell different frequency cameras that will work with your system.

Hope that this works for you! :)
